Just completed this build for a customer in the UK, a lightly-used 57cm Bianchi X4 frame from 1986-87 that had been waiting patiently in the shop for a new owner. It found itself (mostly) equipped with a Campagnolo C-Record groupset with the coveted ‘Cobalto’ brakes, a new Brooks Cambium C15 ‘Carved’ saddle, and finished with Brooks black leather bar tape. The only difference is that this has a single-speed freewheel for simplicity. Engraved ‘X4’ details on the rear brake bridge complement a similar design on the fork crown. It was a pleasure to build this bike, and it’s great to see it on the road again!
